I just filled out my dad's voter registration. He has decided to vote for the first time in his 60 years of life (better late than never?). It's especially exciting considering that this will be my first presidential election to vote in as well. Cool!

I just finished the first painting Matt and I have made for his room. It's pretty fun, and I'm looking forward to starting on the others. (:

We met in person tonight, fell in love, and are now well on our way toward living happily ever after. Her name is Betsy. (:

Today I hung out with my friend Matt like I always do. We tried making pizza for the third time, but it still wasn't awesome. Fourth time's the charm? I think I have finally found someone who is knowledgeable and experienced enough to help us be successful sometime in the near future. We have also been working on making some fun art for his house, which I think will actually turn out really well. Triza and I have sewing lessons on Friday! I'm looking forward to it. Making stuff is the best. Good night!

I made a new blog to serve as a place to post about all of my crafting and baking endeavors, but I just keep on coming back here to my familiar old livejournal. I guess the transition will be a slow one. This is a bit of what I've been up to lately: ( Clicky clicky. )

The newest baby puppy love in my life! It's impossible to get anything productive done when all I want to do is watch my puppies play and be adorable. Also, my weather gadget tells me it's 101 degrees outside. DISGUSTING. Monsoon season, please hurry.

For a few years now I've been wanting to make a scrapbook of all the people who've made an impact on my life, and today I finally made the first page. I'm not sure if it's completely done, or if I'll even keep the journaling as it is right now, but I like it. It's always a really good feeling to be satisfied with something I've made. I hope to spend a lot more of my time creating. It's a pretty crummy picture, but I have shaky hands and it's too big for my scanner. Oh well!
