It's only taken about two hours to get this far (on top of the several frustrating hours yesterday when I was trying to figure out how to even get started)! I can just imagine how much fun it will be to attempt a hat. At this rate, I predict that the winter of 2015 will be a warm one. :D

I just filled out my dad's voter registration. He has decided to vote for the first time in his 60 years of life (better late than never?). It's especially exciting considering that this will be my first presidential election to vote in as well. Cool!

Today I hung out with my friend Matt like I always do. We tried making pizza for the third time, but it still wasn't awesome. Fourth time's the charm? I think I have finally found someone who is knowledgeable and experienced enough to help us be successful sometime in the near future. We have also been working on making some fun art for his house, which I think will actually turn out really well. Triza and I have sewing lessons on Friday! I'm looking forward to it. Making stuff is the best. Good night!

I made a new blog to serve as a place to post about all of my crafting and baking endeavors, but I just keep on coming back here to my familiar old livejournal. I guess the transition will be a slow one. This is a bit of what I've been up to lately:

For a few years now I've been wanting to make a scrapbook of all the people who've made an impact on my life, and today I finally made the first page. I'm not sure if it's completely done, or if I'll even keep the journaling as it is right now, but I like it. It's always a really good feeling to be satisfied with something I've made. I hope to spend a lot more of my time creating. It's a pretty crummy picture, but I have shaky hands and it's too big for my scanner. Oh well!

I have found much comfort in baking delicious cupcakes, brownies, and cookies lately. It's practically all I ever feel like doing besides watching terrible television shows, discovering/listening to music, and occasionally arts and crafting. I feel like I should be doing more and making important decisions about my future, but I can't seem to find the motivation. Maybe tomorrow. :)

Dixi - the King of Cartoon's taxi driver who also plays the trumpet

Mrs. Renee - Pee-Wee's neighbor

The Playhouse Gang - kids dressed in silly outfits who often come to play in the playhouse

Pterri - sensitive, green pterodactyl

Conky - stuttering robot made from old electronics

Puppet band (Dirty Dog, Cool Cat, Chicky Baby) - rhyming jazz musicians

Billy Baloney - Pee-Wee's hand puppet
